The heart of J&B Rare is formed from some of the finest Speyside malts, including Knockando, Strathmill, Glen Spey and Auchroisk. These are blended together before being returned to cask for a further three years maturation. Lively and light, New Grain creates a subtle canvas for the blend. New Malt adds body and aromatic notes of spice and fresh fruit. These are perfectly balanced by American oak and just a hint of smoke.
